Tara and Chris chose a perfect day in June to start their lives together. Dreamlife Photos and Videos (New York) were happy to be a part of their union and loved every moment of capturing their wedding photography.

We started our day off on the right foot with Tara as she showed off her beautiful dress. The bride couldn’t wait to put it on, but we were excited about getting a few bridal photos with the bridesmaids before revealing the final look. Of course, once Tara made her grand appearance with the dress on we simply had to snap away at her beauty. We especially loved the photos of the bride as her bridesmaids helped her finish off her style as they added a charming look for such an incredible moment.

When Tara was ready to go we met up with the rest of the guests at the Bridgeview Yacht Club. The club was such an amazing place to share such a beautiful experience. We loved capturing the heartwarming smile Tara and her father presented as they began their walk down the aisle and were happy to start the photo-session off with such a great moment. The ceremony was breathtaking and we couldn’t get over the perfect photo of bride and groom sharing their first kiss as the rain poured down behind them.

Luckily, the weather cleared up so we could capture a few images of the couple before the reception began. We made sure to capture some photos of the group on the docks, which really made everyone pop beneath the gray skies. As we changed locations the blue skies returned and offered a great background for our wedding photos of Tara and Chris posing in front of a vintage truck. Of course, our favorite photo of the afternoon was the couple as they stood near a classic carousel.

Before we knew it we were back at the venue for the reception. The reception hall was decked out in grandeur for the occasion and we couldn’t wait to add some candid photos to the couple’s wedding photography. Dreamlife was charmed by the beautiful wedding cake which boasted a topper that represented Tara and Chris in his service uniform. With all the dancing and speeches throughout the night it was fun to take in the joy surrounding the couple’s special night. It felt like we were taking photos of every little thing, which really spiced up the couple’s wedding photography. Although we were thrilled the entire night, we have to admit, Chris’ gigantic head filled with signatures really had us rolling with laughter. We’re sure each special moment will be remember by bride and groom for years to come!
